Budget-friendly basic shelter
It’s all about utility, right? The fridge and microwave worked wonders for late-night snacks, and the air conditioning was like a breath of fresh air in the sweltering heat.
Wasn’t exactly a bargain,,, but it did the job.

The room was super basic but clean and cozy enough. Air conditioning worked well, which was a must. Had a fridge and microwave, so that was a nice touch. The bed was comfy, but the furniture was a bit worn out. Bathroom was freshly redone, and everything sparkled. Honestly, even though the outside looked run down, the inside surprised me with its cleanliness. Felt pretty quiet even being on a busy road.

Basic but Smith-Made Memories
Our stay began with a friendly check-in, and the clean room offered us a comfy night. The fridge and microwave were a nice touch for snacks and drinks.
However, the walls felt thin, as we heard our neighbors quite clearly, which might wake light sleepers. The bathroom could use a little more scrubbing for comfort.

I truly appreciated the clean and updated bathroom. it made my stay much more comfortable. The staff were accommodating, ensuring my experience was pleasant and providing helpful recommendations for nearby attractions, which I thoroughly enjoyed as a senior traveler.
Limited parking space could be improved for seniors.

great access to local markets and parks for strolls
My stay was pleasant thanks to the clean room and proximity to various parks like san pablo park, which is just a short walk away. plus, the south berkeley farmers' market is about 0.5 km away and perfect for weekend exploring.

A cozy spot with a clean, spartan room, mini fridge, and convenient access to the shops. The bathroom was bright and updated—nice touch!
No lift, so prepare for your stairway workout! Plus, don’t forget to bring your own hairdryer unless you fancy air-drying with the best of them.

In my wife’s opinion, a hairdryer in the room would be great for families.

I had a cozy night here with my boyfriend, enjoying the clean, comfy bed and the handy little fridge and microwave in our room. There’s a nice lounge area and an inviting pool to kick back by. Though the thin walls made us hear some noise from next door, the overall experience was great, and I’d say grab a meal from one of the nearby spots! 😊
